Spectrum
is published three times a year (Sept., Jan., April) by
the Confederation in Oregon for Language Teaching (COFLT),

articles, anecdotes, descriptions of innovative classroom
units or courses, reviews of teaching materials, op-ed pieces,
and other materials of interest to language teachers.
Suggested maximum length is 1500 words, although longer
articles will be considered. Shorter articles are always
welcome. Materials may be sent as e-mail attachments in
either WordPerfect for Windows, MS Word for Windows, or
text file format. Other e-mail submissions should be cut
and pasted into your e-mail text. E-mail attachments should
preferably be prepared using Calisto MT font, 11 point,
with .6 (6/10ths”) side margins.
